Fighting Childhood Hunger with Compassion and Community.
Fighting Childhood Hunger with Compassion and Community.

Tiny Tummy Trust was born out of a college dream at Spelman College, where service and sisterhood inspired our founder, Makaila Reed, to take action. What started as a classroom project quickly became a calling to make sure no child has to learn, play, or grow on an empty stomach.

The heart of this mission traces back to international service trips to Cuba and the Dominican Republic. There, Makaila witnessed children facing hunger with unwavering strength and radiant smiles. Those encounters revealed a truth that still fuels Tiny Tummy Trust today: hunger knows no borders, but neither does compassion.
At Tiny Tummy Trust, our team is the heart behind the mission. What began as a college project at Spelman College has grown into a family of passionate students, community leaders, and volunteers who believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
Each member of our team brings something special, from organizing donation drives and planning patient parties to managing partnerships and leading creative outreach. Together, we are united by one goal: to make sure every child feels full, valued, and cared for.
We are not just leaders...we’re change-makers, dreamers, and doers who believe in the power of service, sisterhood, and community.
✨ It takes a team to feed hope, and ours is just getting started.
